BTC&G Challenge Reminder

Morning everyone, well I got the Marmalade made without any hitches but i nearly had a fit when I got there. Mum had set out on Tuesday opening the can to get making just when her home help had arrived. Doesn't bear thinking about what muddle she would of got herself into. And the die cutting machine, took the plunge not that I needed much prodding lol! It's the new Juscutz die/embossing machine from Once Upon a Stamp.
Have pre-ordered it and it's arriving June sometime. Mmmn, wonder where i will put it! And will hubby notice another new gadget. Contemplating uprooting myself from the Sunroom and moving all my stash up to one of the spare bedrooms. Think I need to talk to the boss first! Only to tell him that is lol!
Okay enough waffle and onto why I'm here today.
A wee reminder of the  BT&G challenge and the theme Flowers. Thankfully I had a card I made awhile back and never posted as hadn't managed to squeeze a crafty moment in  with feeling off colour.  Don't think I've ever had such a quick cold, if that's what it was. Forty-eight hours and was gone again!

Pottering in the Garden!

Phew! Didn't think I was going to pull this one off in time for posting this morning! I had so much trouble with my cutiest of Stampfairy images. Just love this one. She is called Clemintine. Forgot I had put a new ink cartridge in and the ink smudged so next one I printed on fast draft and dried with my gun, had it all coloured up and went to die cut it and grrrrrrrrr, a couple of pieces of scrap paper must of been on the plates of my Pro and marked it badly so back and had to do it all over again. A bit rushed but finally got there. So need to tidy up now, story of my life lol!

bee Happy!

Morning everyone, have a stinker of a cold at the mo, constantly sneezing and can just about see out of my right eye so been lying low past couple of days.
Back with another mo manning cutie, for a change I've managed to colour all my new buys. That's a first i can tell you, how many do we take a liking to, buy and then lie unloved on our computers, must be some of you like me!  Loved bringing her to life with my Pro/Flexmarkers and a sprinkling of  magic fairy Dust!

Have used Baby Fairy Bee, just too cute and by the looks of her shes been at the honey, a bit like me! Doesn't know when to say enough is enough.  Have  teamed her up with Gingham digi papers from Pink petticoat and embossed with Honeycomb folder from Darice. Fishtail die\, heart with computerised sentiment and a wee daisy to finish off. Oh the oval is a Dienamics.

Baby Fairy Bee

Welcome to my blog today, the Sun's shining and my, the bird's are chattering ten to the dozen in the garden. I should be doing housework but crafting had a bigger pull lol! Found Mr Mojo hiding under all the chaos on my desk so grabbed him while the goings good. The chaos can wait!
Made this card before Mojo went for a holiday, he could of taken me with him, could of both gone craft shopping and both would of come back revitalised!  Bought this darling image Baby Fairy Bee from Mo Manning a few weeks back, she is just adorable. By The Cute & Girly May Challenge

Hello everyone, second post today.

A new challenge over on By The Cute and Girly and sad to say this will be my last one. Have really enjoyed my time here and thank Lora for taking me on some three years ago and to the DT girls for being such a great bunch. Having a wee rest, saying that I'm having a wee hicup with my health, just waiting for blood tests to see what's going on and hopefully it will get some problems cleared up and I might, just might be pushing the booster button lol!  A last minute idea, a wall hanging for mySunroom seems to be to many of them just lately,  will be framing it but need to decorate the frame so hopefully when I get round to it I will let you see the finished article. The image was one I won the other week. It is from Delicious Doodles which I printed off on patterned paper from My Mind's Eye 'Rosy', layered up the flower and Butterfly and distressed the edges with TH Vintage Photo and embossed with  Frantage Bronzed enamel. The outer backing I stamped and embossed using the Frantage too, to hopefully give it an aged look. Added bronze metal corners and roughed up the edges with my TH edger.

Best Friends Too Cute!

My second card done and dusted for the little boss in my life lol! Now Mum said make a card with light Pinks so had a few paper selections for Naomi to choose from but she was having none of it. Danni loves Red she said, Mum didn't think so.......I think Naomi likes Red! Now I don't have many papers in Red but this was a freebie out of a magazine, Naomi liked them, the one with the hearts she said, how could I say no, wasn't very sure about them so added a touch of blue. Good decision I think, hope she thinks so too....a bit late now if she doesn't agree lol!

Looking Back in Time!

Just wasn't sure what to do for this young man. Decided on the Tim Holtz man and the clock. Looking back in time I thought was as good as anything for a Ninetieth birthday and the giver and receiver were delighted with it so that was a relief!   Have used the clock many times for special birthdays and this time used the clock embossing folder too. Sandpapered the embossing just a tad, Used distress inks on the Kraft card and ruffed up the edges.

BTC&G Challenge Vintage Reminder

Monday again and I'm certainly not moaning about Monday blues! So good to feel good for a change and I certainly didn't use it to do housework, instead I spent the last two days crafting. This was the first thing I made

Lace Flower

A card for my crafting friend Helen, it's past so safe to show now. Have had a few off days lately but feeling brighter again. So fine to feel nearly normal after a few days when the brain and the body just doesn't function on all cylinders. Never mind, maybe not like a Porsche rarin to go but more like an old jalopy lol, I'm a happy bunny today. An added bonus, the Sun's shining and a lovely blue sky so maybe a walk with the dogs later up in the forest, Such a lovely smell even at this time of year from the pine trees.
Right enough of my woes. My card:
Have used some new stamps from My Mind's Eye 'the sweetest thing'.  The colour combo idea came from a card I made at a class I went to, really loved the combination. I stamped the lace flower with Memento ink and then the laborious bit, cut out by hand, wasn't too bad once I got going, in and out all those wee loops. Layered them up and fixed with a pearl brad.
